The
Zamboni will be at numerous locations in the Ottawa area from September
15 to 19 as part of the fundraising event. During the week, area
residents will be encouraged to sign their name on the Zamboni. Lenox
will donate one dollar for every signature obtained, to a maximum of
$10,000, to the Sens Foundation. The funds will be used directly to
support Roger’s House, a local facility designed to provide pediatric
palliative and respite care with the objective of enhancing the comfort
and quality of life for children and their families.

Throughout 2009, Hackman has been travelling the globe and cutting all kinds of vehicles in half, including a police car, a double-decker bus in the United Kingdom, and a Jeepney in the Philippines. The Ottawa stop will be the only major event in Canada, and will mark the first time The Hackman has cut a Zamboni.
In support of the tour, LENOX has launched cutsomething.com, which provides a virtual tour of the Lenox factory where visitors can learn about the T2 technology through videos, demos and sampling.
