Eaton acquires EMC Engineers - enhances energy services offering

Eaton Corp. has acquired EMC Engineers Inc. (Denver, Colo.), an energy engineering and services company that delivers energy efficiency solutions for a range of governmental, educational, commercial and industrial facilities.
“Energy management and service is an important part of Eaton’s growth
portfolio,” said Thomas S. Gross, vice-chair and COO, Eaton’s Electrical
Sector. “EMC’s capabilities enhance our value-added service business by
expanding our early-stage service offerings. This will ultimately
better position Eaton to meet our customers’ growing energy management
needs.”
