This position is located in Concord, Ont.

Description:
The primary purpose of this role is to provide a high level of customer service as you set up and calibrate a variety of Metcon systems and equipment. You will act as a diagnostic technician as you trouble shoot, analyze, and maintain their clients' systems mainly across Ontario with minimal travel in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. You will be required to work with clients in the field including electrical, mechanical, and general contracts in towns, cities, water and waste water operators.

Your regular working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. You will be given the opportunity to explore Ontario, and other provinces occasionally as you travel to the various job sites. Please note that this position involves extensive travel around Ontario. Some over night travel is required, but all expenses will be paid. Training and development opportunities will also be provided.

Qualifications/skills:
To be successful in this role, you will have graduated from an instrumentation or electrical program or have an equivalent combination of technical training and experience. You are a customer-driven, team-focused individual with the technical background and skills (at least four years in the field) in order to succeed. Metcon is looking for an individual who has the ability to read and follow schematics. We are looking for a keen team player that can work as an independent operator in able to complete various tasks in the field. You will have excellent problem solving and technical skills, as well as being highly organized allowing you to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Having excellent organizational and communication skills is required. A valid driver's license is essential.
