Industrial Outside Sales Rep (Lloydminster)

Job Description
• Research the territory to determine new and potential customers. Manage and drive Industrial account strategies from prospect to close.
• Partner with customers through a strategic and consultative sales approach to understand their business issues, strategies and priorities so as to deliver business solutions.
• Maintain good rapport and inform customers of sales promotions to foster a high level of service and sales.
• Develop and present well-structured sales proposals to customers outlining the purpose, key features, advantages and value proposition of the product.
• Act as a liaison to resolve customer concerns, cultivating key business relationships within the assigned territory.
• Work closely with Inside Sales and Branch personnel to ensure timely delivery of products to the customer.
• Provide feedback to marketing/product management on market pricing, trends and opportunities.
• Complete all related account and sales reporting documents in a timely manner.

This position requires someone with:
• A solid track record in prospecting and managing full sales cycles while achieving sales targets.
• Ability to build strategic partnerships, identify potential sales and develop those accounts.
• Strong communication, time management and organizational skills.

Education/Experience:
• College diploma (or equivalent).
• Proven client service and minimum of 2 – 3 years of Industrial sales experience or within the Electrical Distribution Industry.
• In-depth electrical knowledge would be an asset. Candidate should be completely familiar with lighting, electrical distribution, data products.
• Computer literate in a Windows environment.
