July 5, 2012 - Sonepar Canada needs resources for an exciting new project that will revolutionize the way it searches products internally and externally, and provides detailed information to its staff and customers. As such, the company is seeking a:
Electrical Products Specialist (FT)
Electrical Products Specialist (FT)
in the Product Information Management Department at Sonepar Canada headquarters at 117 boul. Hymus, Pointe Claire, Que.
Under the supervision of the director responsible for product information, the incumbent is responsible for classification, enrichment and maintenance of Sonepar’s centralized database of products.
Specifics
1. Assist the rest of the team on the technical level thanks to your expertise in electrical products.
2. Search Sonepar’s suppliers and/or companies for descriptions and product information.
3. Maintain the product database.
4. Other related duties.
Qualifications
• Certificate completed or degree in electrical domain.
• 3 years of experience in a position related to product expertise in the electrical product distribution field.
• Knowledge of electrical products, ability to prioritize, analytical, resourceful, knowledge of software e.g. MS Office, especially Excel, an asset.
• Bilingual, English/French spoken and written essential.
