High-level overview
Responsible for the coordination of all purchasing from commodity volume buys to regular replenishment ensuring the timely purchasing of customer orders as well as maintaining appropriate stock levels.

What you’ll be doing
• Co-ordinating all purchasing efforts to ensure the timely purchase of Stock.
• Effectively manage commodity purchases.
• Negotiate discounts with preferred vendors.
• Develop and maintain beneficial vendor relationships.
• Control inventory levels.
• Co-ordinate and implement vendor stock relations.
• Expedite orders to ensure timely deliveries.
• Research new products and explore new opportunities.

What you’ll be paid
Total compensation will be a competitive base salary plus a yearly bonus tied to project completions and overall organization results. Our Group Benefits include medical with Vision Plan, education support, and a joint investment plan.

We require the following
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of commodity purchasing experience in electrical wholesale distribution a must.
• PMAC accreditation (or partial completed) preferred.
• College/University Diploma preferred.
• MS Office especially Excel required.
