The ideal candidate must possess a drive and passion to succeed as well as be a good team player. The Quotation Specialist is responsible for internal project pricing, as well as day-to-day requests and technical support. They are an integral part of the sale; they must build and maintain strong and effective relationships with current and new customers. This person is responsible for maintaining overall customer satisfaction by working closely with the sales force and fellow team members, and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Project quotations (including but not limited to cross referencing competitors’ products, pricing projects, and building a strategy for the projects).
• Proactive Project follow-ups with customers and/or sales representatives.
• Day to day pricing.
• Responding to customer inquiries in the prescribed, consistent manner.
• Application of all sales and marketing programs.
• Participate in sales meetings & attend and participate in training sessions.
• Internal technical support.
• Building relationships with key customers.
• Report Opportunities.
• Report information about competitors.
• Report information about the marketplace.

Experience / skill set required

• Minimum 3 to 4 years’ experience preferably in quotation, customer service &/or Inside Sales role.
• Proven Customer service and Sales skills.
• Ability to build lasting relationships with customers.
• Positive Attitude.
• Knowledge of MS Office required (Excel, Word, Outlook, PPT etc.), SAP a definite asset.
• Aptitude to learn technically on products.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Industry knowledge.
