to complete the team for the Toronto Maintenance Center (TMC) located in Etobicoke.
As an electrician for Via Rail, the individual will perform duties on locomotives and passenger cars. The individual will have to install, repair and replace electrical controls and panel boxes, test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits and conduct preventive maintenance programs. He/she will have the overall responsibilities of all electrical equipment, including lighting and all HVAC systems.

Annual Salary: $29.39/hr
Number of positions to be filled: 2
Requirements:
You must have completed a professional/technical degree in liaison with the position and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including HVAC experience. You must also hold an Electrician Trade Certification. Railway motive power experience is a plus. Teamwork and problem solving abilities as well as experience are essential.
You must be available to work any day of the week. Shifts will include either days, evenings or nights. Two consecutive days off per week will be assigned.
