Registration deadline extended for Power of Water Canada Conference

September 27, 2012 - The Ontario Waterpower Association (OWA) has extended the registration deadline to October 12 for the Power of Water Canada Conference being held October 21-23 at the White Oaks Conference Resort, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont.
OWA says this is the largest gathering of the hydroelectric sector in Canada. Keynote speakers include:
• Chris Bentley, Minister of Energy
• Rosemarie Leclair, CEO, Ontario Energy Board
• MPP Victor Fedeli, PC Energy Critic
• Michael Gravelle, Minister of Natural Resources
The conference also features:
• Guided facility tours of three local generating stations
• Two-day concurrent workshops and educational seminars focused on the key issues facing the waterpower sector today
• Tradeshow with exhibitors from across North America
• Gala Dinner, award ceremony and premier of the Kapuskasing River Hydro Project film
• Networking opportunities
