WIN a $2500 Commercial Accessory Package - Attend MEET 2012

January 26, 2012
January 26, 2012 - The MEET (Mechanical Electrical Electronic Technology) Show is set to open in Moncton, N.B., May 2-3. This biennial event attracts exhibitors from all over Canada and the States, displaying the very latest equipment available to the electrical and mechanical industries. And, once again, Electrical Business is proud to serve as the Official Electrical Publication for MEET.
MEET has proved itself to be one of the top industry events in Canada. Acting as a comprehensive marketplace, this show gives industry professionals the unique opportunity to see electrical and mechanical companies from across North America under one roof. MEET is the second-largest event for industry in Canada and the largest trade event east of Montreal. The last edition of MEET in 2010 welcomed over 5000 industry professionals, and more are expected for 2012.

MEET will be hosting its popular “Industry Dinner” May 2 at the Delta Beauséjour, featuring comedian John Sheehan. This event always sells out quickly, so interested parties are urged to purchase their tickets by phoning (888) 454-7469.

In addition to the wide-ranging exhibits, the MEET show is pleased to present the exciting Skills Canada NB Competition. This will showcase the electrical installations, plumbing, and refrigeration & air-conditioning portions of the Skills Canada NB Competitions. Visit www.skillscanada.nb.ca for all the details.

MEET is also pleased to launch the second edition of the “MEET Innovation Awards” at the 2012 edition. The purpose of these awards is to recognize innovative products in the industry. The awards will be presented at the show at selected exhibitors’ booths. Nomination forms have been sent to exhibitors, and can also be found on the event website.

The MEET Show is owned and sponsored by four associations: CIPH, ASHRAE N.B.-P.E.I. Chapter, IESNA and Electro-Federation Canada, who will be presenting a cutting-edge seminar program relevant to the industries they represent.

Finally, Organizers would like to thank Action Car and Truck Accessories for providing a door prize that one lucky industry person will win by visiting the event: a $2500 Commercial Accessory Package.
