Woodbridge-based Electrical College of Canada celebrated first year anniversary

June 22, 2010
The first anniversary of the Electrical College of Canada (ECC) was celebrated Saturday June 19 at its 91 Friuli Court address in Woodbridge, Ontario.
Students, teachers, potential students and Vaughan residents joined Ralph Cerasuolo, director of the college to support the school’s success and the achievements of graduates.

Cerasuolo goes to explain that due to such growth and success, the college has expanded into a third unit. The college has also been working closely with the Ministry of Training, Employment Canada, and other Colleges/Universities to ensure their graduates become registered apprentices.

ECC offers courses and workshops in the basic principles of electrical theory with simulated work environments such as the Certificate of Qualification pre-exam workshop to prepare students for the exam administered by the Ministry of Training. ECC also offers construction and maintenance pre-apprenticeship programs to further student’s success after graduation.

Cerasuolo has been managing his family’s electrical contracting business, Neutron Electrical in Vaughan before 16 years before founding and directing the ECC. All courses are Ontario Government approved and the school includes practical learning “in-house wiring labs” for students to succeed in the use of electrical applications.
