Ferraz acquires GE’s power fuse operations

Carbone Lorraine has acquired General Electric’s Power Fuse operations from GE Consumer & Industrial through its American-based Electrical Protection division, Ferraz Shawmut LLC. Based in Vieques, Puerto Rico, the operations will be combined with the existing Ferraz Shawmut medium-voltage fuse business based in Newburyport, Mass.
