Electrical Business was happy to be invited to EASA Ontario Chapter’s annual general meeting and tradeshow this month.
Electrical Business’ editor and associate editor, Anthony Capkun and Alyssa Dalton, checked out Acklands-Grainger’s annual “The Works” MRO & Safety Show at the Toronto Congress Centre, and we were impressed with the great turnout of both suppliers and delegates. November 17, 2011 - The team from EBMag was there this week at APPrO (Association of Power Producers of Ontario)'s 23rd Annual Conference in Toronto, Ont. The event ran from November 14-16, and highlighted key challenges facing the power sector, such as renewables integration; public policy development in the post-election period; alleviating approval challenges; and transmission expansion and upgrading.

November 1, 2011 - EBMag's associate editor, Alyssa Dalton, was in Ottawa this morning for the exclusive launch of National Skilled Trades and Technology Week 2011, hosted by Skills/Compétences Canada (S/CC) and Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists. The event marked the kick-off to a series of activities taking place from October 31 to November 6 across Canada under this year's umbrella theme–energy, which according to Skills Canada, underscores the important role of building sustainable energy workforce to meet the needs of industry and future generations.
