Le Salon MCEE is a brand new show in Quebec, incorporating Electrical and Lighting into a show that used to be plumbing and HVAC. Here are some shots from the show. They include some of the old friends and new friends we met, as well as products vying for Best in Show. (Photos A. Capkun)

Back in August, team members from Electrical Business joined folks from Schneider Electric at the Habitat for Humanity Build on 4200 Kingston Road. Scott Hoy (account manager) helped out on the first Saturday... that’s him tacking up baseboard. On the following Saturday, the second team from Schneider was joined by the remaining EB team members of John MacPherson (publisher), Anthony Capkun (editor) and Robert Russell (Production Coordinator)... who were sent in the clean up the mess left behind by the first team : )

Thanks to Schneider’s Alan Taaffe for the photos, and to Gary Abrams and the remaining Schneider team members for having us along.
Getting up at 4:00 a.m. to be sure we made it to Ainsworth in Toronto (before rush-hour) for the set-up of GE’s first stop in the Greater Toronto Area was no picnic, but that’s what you have to do sometimes to catch a whirlwind event like the Low-Voltage Tour, which is visiting two locations per day while in the GTA. The photos some reveal some of the early birds who came to both help out and check it out. (Photos A. Capkun)

Scenes from the Ontario Electrical League's annual golf tournament. Despite a very wet summer overall, and a late-morning downpour, a good time was had by all... especially with enough prizes at the end so that no one went home empty-handed. (Photos N. Bilous).
Shots from the Members and Guests’ Opening Dinner. We were entertained by “Homemade Bread”, whose members invited us to play the spoons, the rolling pin, the Aboriginal drums and, of course, the Newfie “Stick-Boot Thing”. What a great way to kick things off and be “Sociable!”. Just added photos from Friday's awards events. Congratulations to all the winners! (Photos A. Capkun)
