Toshiba unveils PAR38 and MR16 LED lamps

January 24, 2012 - Toshiba International Corp. claims its new PAR38 and MR16 lamps offer higher lumen output while still providing huge energy savings when compared to similar lumen halogen bulbs. The PAR38 1100 Series replaces 90 to 110W halogen lamps and offers outputs of up to 1170 lumens and uses up to 75% less energy, it says. Meanwhile, the MR16 450 Series, a replacement for 35W halogen lamps, offers outputs of up to 475 lumens and uses up to 80% less energy.
