November 22, 2015 | By Anthony Capkun
November 22, 2015 – Available now, Eaton’s all-new 600V UPS (uninterruptible power system) solution is built upon its flagship Power Xpert 9395 platform, promising up to 99% efficiency across most loads through the company’s Energy Saver System (ESS).
Watch our exclusive VIDEO interview with Ed Spears (above), who explains the benefits for electrical designers/specifiers and electrical contractors.
The Variable Module Management System (VMMS) offers greater efficiency in double-conversion for data centres (up to 96%) operating at light loads, says Eaton. With built-in redundancy, the model is engineered to share the load when power capacity is below 50-75%. Eaton says this latest platform provides up to 10% more power than traditional UPSs, allowing users to power up to 10% more racks for enhanced scalability. The UPS features a modular design, allowing users to increase power capacity by simply adding one additional power module of 275kVA up to 1100kVA.
