Account Manager (Full-Time) based in Calgary, Alta.
Reporting to the Western Canada District Sales Manager and working closely with our distribution channel, you will take part in challenging projects delivering the best products and solutions in the industry to customers.
The role involves, but is not limited to, the following:
• Achieve sales growth targets for assigned territory
• Develop and execute account specific sales and promotions
• Implement national promotions within territory
• Drive new business within the existing distribution account base through solicitation of new commercial and industrial accounts
• Develop and maintain key account contacts and build solid customer relationships
• Develop new accounts in territory
• Work closely with the Regional Projects Coordinators and Quotations Specialist
We are looking for candidates who have/are:
• University Degree and/or College diploma and/or technical designation
• 5 or more years of sales experience, preferably in commercial, electrical and/or construction industry
• Experience dealing with contractors
• Solid business acumen
• Strong negotiating skills and the ability to become involved in all aspects of the GE/Customer relationship
• Excellent computer, organizational and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal/analytical/problem solving skills
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task
• Motivated for Innovation, Desire Challenge and Success, and are Results Oriented
