This is your opportunity to be part of GE as a:

Specification Engineer (Full-time) based in Mississauga, Ont.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with the Sales team, you will take part in challenging projects working to deliver the best products and solutions in the industry to our customers.

Essential Functions:
• Influence key architects, engineers and lighting designers within the specification community to use GE Industrial & Lighting products and secure specification sales for new construction and renovation products.
• Define, assess and close growth opportunities at new and existing consultants within the key strategic market segments.
• Drive incremental growth at targeted prospects and drive improved product mix in specifications.
• Remain highly active within the industry and market segments to maximize GE presence and business results.
• Drive new product commercialization and accelerate market segment penetration.
• Provide ongoing market feedback to specification team and product management to guide product development and service offerings.

Qualifications
• Strong motivation/initiative, accountability for results, ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Proven leadership experience and strong communication skills
• Knowledge of industrial and lighting products with industry segments is important.
• University degree : Engineering
• 3-5 years engineering and/or technical sales experience
• Six Sigma, Green Belt

Desired
• 5-7 years in engineering
• Sales and/or Marketing experience
• Electrical industry knowledge
• Automotive market experience
• Six Sigma Black Belt
