We were entertained by “Homemade Bread”, whose members invited us to play the spoons, the rolling pin, the Aboriginal drums and, of course, the Newfie “Stick-Boot Thing”. What a great way to kick things off and be “Sociable!”. Just added photos from Friday's awards events. Congratulations to all the winners!

Scenes from Westburne's Summer Showcase, held this year at the GM Centre in Oshawa. Besides the trade show floor, the event featured numerous speakers holding sessions on everything from Ontario's Electricity Retrofit Incentive Program to energy-saving lamp and ballast technology. There was even a dedicated section for hands-on training with Rockwall Automation products.

Photography was discouraged on Lightfair's show floor (well, they came right out and said "Don't do it!"), but we managed to grab several shots at GE's prestigious Edison Awards Dinner, as well as a shot from the GE media luncheon (and two sundry photos to boot). After all, it is Vegas.
