Wednesday, 04 November 2009 |
Lenox’s “Hackman” Lee Breton was in our nation’s capital to cut a Zamboni in half, to benefit Roger’s House: a local facility designed to provide pediatric palliative and respite care with the objective of enhancing the comfort and quality of life for children and their families. Residents were encouraged to sign their name on the Zamboni, and Lenox would donate one dollar for every signature (up to a maximum of $10,000). CLICK HERE to learn more about the tour and Hackman's visit to Ottawa. (Photos Robert Russell).

(By the way, can you guess how long it took Hackman to cut through the Zamboni? For fun, write your guess on a piece of paper before opening the last photo. Were you close?)
