Lenox’s “Hackman” Lee Breton was in our nation’s capital to cut a Zamboni in half, to benefit Roger’s House: a local facility designed to provide pediatric palliative and respite care with the objective of enhancing the comfort and quality of life for children and their families. Residents were encouraged to sign their name on the Zamboni, and Lenox would donate one dollar for every signature (up to a maximum of $10,000).
