Sunovia partners to provide solar-powered LED luminaires PDF Print E-mail

LED light fixture developer and manufacturer, Sunovia Energy Technologies Inc., has partnered with Solar Electric Power Co., a maker of solar-powered electric lighting, to produce solar-powered LED lighting fixtures for street, area and landscape applications. Their first applications are for single lighthead lantern-style and cobra head LED street and area lights employing Sunovia’s Aimed Optics technology. And did you know a fixture could be “turtle friendly”? Sunovia lights protect sea turtle nesting and hatching areas by casting a form of LED light that aids turtles in staying on the beach rather than attract them to adjacent roadways.
