EB Announces Winners of 2007 Future Contractor Scholarships PDF Print E-mail

Aurora, Ont., March 2008 — To help promote the next generation of electrical contractors, Electrical Business magazine—Canada’s premier national electrical publication—has awarded two scholarships of $500 to two deserving up-and-comers. Without further ado, the winners of the Electrical Business Future Contractor Scholarship for 2007 are:

Dustin Christiansen: Apprenticeship Program Electrical, Red Deer College, Alberta.
Cara DeBruyne: Apprenticeship Training Program, New Brunswick Community College (NBCC), New Brunswick.

“You should feel very proud of what you have accomplished, and I encourage you to continue working hard and focus on your long-term goals,” said Electro-Federation Canada’s president and CEO, Milos Jancik, in his letters of congratulations.

We congratulate these exceptional winners, and thank everyone who sent in an entry for the 2007 Electrical Business Future Contractor Scholarship.

For 2008, EB is “mixing things up” with the launch of The 2008 Electrical Business Distribution Professional Scholarship. CLICK HERE for more information.
