Aurora, Ont., February 2008 — Electrical Business is pleased to announce the winner of the Heritage “What Am I?” Photo Contest for the February 2008 edition, who correctly identified the mystery heritage item on page 7 as a Rawlplug mechanical hammer drill (for drilling holes in masonry for rawl plugs):
• Robert Anderson, R. Anderson Electrical (White Rock, British Columbia).
Electrical Business launched the photo contest in cooperation with the Electrical Heritage Society of British Columbia as well as generous industry partners. In this contest, readers guess the nature of an electrical artifact from the society’s collection to win cool prizes—in our winner’s case, an EZL-75 thermal label printer from Thomas & Betts Canada valued at about $195 (in photo).
The next item is ready and waiting in the March edition of Electrical Business.
