Appleton now offers the AreamasterT 250/440 floodlight specifically designed for “lighting outdoor shopping malls, hotels, parking lots, sports areas and other security-sensitive areas,” says the release. The fixture can be used with high-pressure sodium lamps or metal halide lamps. It can be installed with either pole or yoke mounting and is weatherproof. It has a one-piece pressure-clad housing made of copper-free aluminum and bronze polyester. The lens is thermal-shock, impact-resistant glass and has an Alzak aluminum reflector as well. Accessories available include a 180 cross-arm mounting bracket, an aluminum top visor, and a polycarbonate vandal shield.
