April 26, 2016 – Magnum Energy Solutions, a provider of wireless energy management solutions, has introduced the new Magnum Opus node, a fixture-embedded smart lighting system that will be showcased at 2016 Lightfair.

Magnum Opus has the ability to work with a “variety of building systems/networks and create the ultimate smart building technology user experience,” says Mike Giorgi, president and CEO of Magnum Energy Solutions.

Light status, dim levels, occupancy sensing, temperature data and even power consumption can be gathered through lighting and translated into BACnet inputs using Magnum’s eBox gateway, the company explains.

Magnum Opus products are commissioned using Magnum’s patent-pending AirConfig tool, which utilizes a drag and drop interface.
