June 23, 2016 – Stelpro employees tightened their laces and hit the pavement for a good cause recently. The 13th edition of “La Grande Virée des Sentiers du Mont-Saint-Bruno” funnelled $18,000 to the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation (University Hospital Centre for Mothers and Children), bringing the total amount of donations from Stelpro over the past 9 years to $150,000.

The Canadian manufacturing company of integrated heating solutions was able to present this cheque thanks to the participation of 72 employees who took part in the run in Saint-Bruno, Que. on June 12, 2016.

For every employee who crosses the finish line, Stelpro donates $250 to the foundation. The company also sponsors the children’s race every year for $2500.

“We are very proud of the enthusiastic participation of our employees, our runners as well as all our volunteers in this run, allowing us to increase the financial contribution to the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation,” said Yves Chabot, president of Stelpro. “It is one of our goals to encourage the participation of our employees, not only to keep them in good shape by running a 5 km race but also to contribute to a good cause. The satisfaction of helping out is a heart-warming experience that is important to all of us.”
