November 20, 2015 – Kudos to Michelle Branigan who—earlier this week at the 27th annual Canadian Power Conference—was recognized as Woman of the Year 2015 by WiRE (Women in Renewable Energy).

Branigan (photo 1) is the CEO of Electricity Human Resources Canada (EHRC), whose mission is to “strengthen the ability of the Canadian electricity industry to meet current and future needs for their workforce… one that is highly skilled, safety-focused, diverse and productive”.

The award was presented by WiRE founders and co-chairs Joanna Osawe (photo 2) and Rebecca Black (photo 3, back) during the event hosted by the Association of Power Producers of Ontario (APPrO).
