RECALL: National Time 541S fire alarm pull stations (October 2005-April 2007)

August 8, 2016 | By Renée Francoeur

August 8, 2016 – National Time & Signal has issued a recall involving about 3500 fire alarm pull stations as the pull handle can break when manually pulled and fail to activate the alarm system.

It is not known how many, if any, units made their way into Canada.

The red and white rectangular 541S pull stations have “National Time” printed on the bottom and batch code 0805 on a sticker inside the pull station.

Signal Communications, one of the product’s distributors, says it has received one report of the pull handle breaking and failing to activate during routine testing. No injuries have been reported.
