BC Hydro crew places first at International Lineman’s Rodeo 2012
February 14, 2013 - Powerline technicians Paul Kramer, Steve Lang and Chris Smith were recently congratulated by BC Hydro president and CEO, Charles Reid (far right) and executive vice-president of Transmission & Distribution, Greg Reimer (far left), for placing first in the Municipal Division at the International Lineman’s Rodeo and Expo in Kansas City last fall. Team Schneider Electric helps 24h Tremblant Foundation surpass 2012 fundraising objective
January 29, 2013 - Back in December, employees of Schneider Electric participated in Tremblant’s 24h Ski, helping the charitable sporting event surpass its 2012 fundraising objective of $2 million for Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau, Ottawa Senators Foundation, Fondation Martin-Matte and La Fondation Tremblant—all of which are devoted to children.

Lenox unveils 2012 and 1512 medium-tension hacksaw frames
October 29, 2012 - Lenox introduced two medium-tension hacksaw frames complete with T2 blades that promise longer blade life “and a superior cutting experience”. The 2012 compact hacksaw features an aluminum beam that tensions to 20,000 psi; also, users can mount the blade at a 45º angle for flush-cutting applications. The 1512 hacksaw has an adjustable aluminum beam that tensions to 15,000 psi, features a rubberized grip, and accommodates 10-in. and 12-in. blades (ships with a 12-in. blade installed). All Lenox hacksaw frames include a blade with T2 Technology, which promises longer blade life and faster cutting in a variety of metal materials. With the 2012 and 1512, the full family of Lenox hacksaw frames now includes: the high-tension HT50 (50,000 psi); low-profile 5012 (40,000 psi); and lightweight 88300 (30,000 psi).
