AFL is launching its Noyes M210 QUAD OTDR (first photo), an "inspection-ready" hand-held OTDR that offers better performance, higher functional integration and an improved user experience over current OTDRs, it describes. The M210 includes an integrated Optical Power Meter, an integrated Visual Fault Identifier and support for a high-resolution Digital FiberScope. AFL is also introducing an improved high-density, sub-unitized MicroCore data center cable solution (second photo), available with 96 and 144 fibers in UL-compliant plenum, riser and IEC low-smoke zero halogen constructions.
