Registration open for Solar Ontario 2013

March 25, 2013 - CanSIA (Canadian Solar Industries Association) has announced the dates for the upcoming Solar Ontario 2013 conference and trade show… will you be attending?
“Navigating Turbulent Waters: Strategies for Mastering the New Challenges Facing the Ontario Power System” was the theme of this year’s APPrO Canadian Power Conference, and EBMag was there to learn what was burning in the minds of speakers, exhibitors and delegates, such as: “What are the top priorities for improving the system in the coming year?” or “How to ensure that future public policy takes full account of the physical characteristics of the power system?”.
September 27, 2012 - The Ontario Waterpower Association (OWA) has extended the registration deadline to October 12 for the Power of Water Canada Conference being held October 21-23 at the White Oaks Conference Resort, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont.
July 13, 2012 - Yesterday, on behalf of the SkyPower Group of Companies, Gilbert’s LLP and Lenczner Slaght Royce Smith Griffin LLP issued an Application for Judicial Review in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice against the minister of energy and the Ontario Power Authority (OPA). SkyPower also notified the minister and OPA of a claim for damages in excess of $100 million.
July 10, 2012 - Today, Chris Bentley, Ontario’s minister of energy, announced the contentious Greenfield South Power natural gas plant will be relocated to Ontario Power Generation’s (OPG) Lambton Generating Station site at a cost of about $180 million.
June 28, 2012 - Ontario has launched its Clean Energy Economic Development Strategy, which aims to leverage the province's "clean energy experience to become a global leader in key areas of the energy sector". It also aims to create more new jobs in the clean energy sector.
EBMag is back from CanSIA (Canadian Solar Industries Association)'s eventful Solar Ontario Conference in London, Ont. This year's two-day event doubled in size from last year - pulling 100 booths and 1000 attendees.
