March 5, 2014 - Cisco today announced Toronto has been selected as the location for a global Cisco Internet of Everything (IoE) innovation centres, representing a planned investment of up to $100 million over 10 years. Toronto joins cities in South Korea, Brazil and Germany as one of four centres announced worldwide.

March 8, 2014 - Vestas has launched the Large Diameter Steel Tower (LDST), saying it is a cost-effective solution to increase tower height for 3MW turbines to over 140m. The solution promises to boost annual energy production on low wind sites by up to 8%.
March 7, 2014 - SaskPower, SaskEnergy and SaskTel say they are expanding efforts in 2014 to reduce the number of incidents where damage occurs to buried power, natural gas and telecom lines. The three Crown utilities say they have seen, on average, a rising trend of infrastructure damage over the past five years, and want to reduce accidental contact with buried lines.
