VIDEO - ECAA celebrates 50th anniversary

The Electrical Contractors Association of Alberta (ECAA) is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. EBMag's associate editor Alyssa Dalton joined in on the festivities several weeks ago at the President's Gala in Edmonton, as former ECAA president Clem Gratton "passed the hat" to current president Kelly Wilde.

December 7, 2011 - On November 29, 1962, the United Kingdom and France—through British Aircraft Corp. and Aérospatiale—signed a treaty to develop the supersonic Concorde. That same day, the Electrical Contractors Association of Alberta (ECAA) was incorporated and registered with the Registrar of Companies for the Province of Alberta. In 2003, the Concorde fleet was retired... ECAA, meantime, will be celebrating its 50th anniversary next year!
