February 27, 2013 - Halco Lighting Technologies has expanded its ProLED MR16 series lamps to replace standard 10W, 20W, 35W and 50W halogen MR16 lamps. The new form factor, available in 3W, 4.5W, 6W and 8W, claims to maximize efficiencies and provides uniform beam distribution. With light levels available in Flood, Narrow Flood, Spot and Wide Flood beam angles, the MR16 can be used in traditional MR16 fixtures including those with gimbal rings. With 82 CRI, the lamps are dimmable down to 5%.

Halco Lighting 10W ProLED A19 lamps

January 15, 2013 - Halco Lighting Technologies has released its 10W ProLED A19 lamps, which it describes as the ideal replacement for incandescent A19s in the residential and commercial markets. According to Halco, the dimmable lamps provide up to 13 times the life and are 83% more efficient than standard incandescent A19 lamps. With dimmability to 5%, the lamps produce 830 lumens and are available in 3000K with 82 CRI.

December 27, 2012 - Halco Lighting has unveiled its dimmable ProLED B11 chandelier lamps designed for accent, display and retail applications. Described as a true 25W replacement, the ProLED B11 lamp provides 13 times the life of traditional incandescent sources, says Halco. The 3.5W lamps have a candelabra base in 2700K, and produce 82 CRI and 180 lumens. Users can choose between cream, chrome and brass housing options to match existing chandelier finishes.

Halco Lighting 11W ProLED BR30 lamps

December 19, 2012 - Halco Lighting Technologies has launched its 11W ProLED BR30 lamps, which are designed with white housing to blend with luminaire trims. According to Halco, these dimmable lamps provide up to eight times the life of standard 65W incandescent BR30 lamps. With dimming capabilities of up to 5%, they are available in colour temperatures including 2700K, 3000K, 4000K and 5000K. The lamps are damp location rated and ICAT approved, making them ideal for use with downlight luminaries, adds Halco.

October 5, 2012 - Halco Lighting Technologies has released its new Antique series, which use a carbon filament with simulated oil-rubbed glass to produce what it describes as a "classic, old-fashioned feel". Halco’s carbon filament lamps offer a life of 3,000 hours and come in various shapes including A21, C11, G30, G40, ST18 and T14. The ST18 and A21 lamps have a defined steeple to replicate the original glass construction, offering a warm amber glow suitable for hospitality, accent, chandelier and historic reproduction applications, says Halco.

The packages are available in 3W, 4.5W and 5W options with 150/200/250/300 lumen packages. According to the company, the ProLED MR16s are ideal for use in Sollos Modern Bullet and Straight Bullet fixtures.

August 27, 2012 - Halco Lighting Technologies has introduced its ProLume High Performance programmed start T8 ballasts, claiming to help maximize lamp life, facilitate maintenance and decrease energy costs. Designed for use in buildings with occupancy or daylight sensors and in applications with frequent on/off switching, the T8 ballasts operate in parallel mode, so that when one lamp in a fixture fails, the remaining lamps continue operating. Low ballast factor models EP232PS/L/MV/HE and EP432PS/L/MV/HE can provide an additional 13-15% energy savings, says Halco. The ballasts are NEMA Premium designated and CEE listed.

July 10, 2012 - Halco Lighting Technologies has introduced the 15W ProLED BR30 lamps, which it says are up to 77% more efficient than a 65W Incandescent BR30. Ideal for residential lighting, the new BR30 is available in 3000K colour temperature with a flood beam spread and produces 750 lumens. The lamps have 40,000-hour rated life with 82 CRI, and are UL damp location rated.

June 25, 2012 - Halco Lighting's new ProLED JC Lamps are IP65 rated for outdoor use and are designed for applications where there is potential for exposure to water. ProLED JC lamps feature omnidirectional, 3000K warm white light distribution and are available with a G4 base in both 1.5W and 2.5W. A BA15s base is also available in 2.5W.
