APS Resource E-Saver LED replacement lamps

December 28, 2011 - APS Resource claims its new E-Saver LED lamps save energy and money without sacrificing light output at the loading dock, as well as throughout the rest of the facility. Designed with LED optics, the lamp is available as a PAR38, 18W LED lamp or a PAR30, 15W LED lamp. According to the company, both lamps considerably reduce energy costs compared to traditional 150-watt incandescent bulbs; and both offer a 50,000-hour lamp life.

December 19, 2011 - Acuity Brands Inc. has expanded its LED indoor ambient lighting portfolio with its new Lithonia Lighting STLED luminaire. The STLED product features improved efficacy over previous generation surface mounted products, it says, adding that it delivers a high level of performance, design and user simplicity. Comes standard with full-range (0-10V) dimming.

December 16, 2011 - Sollos Landscape Lighting, a Halco Lighting Technologies company, has launched its Deck/Post Light, calling it the perfect fixture to enhance low-level area lighting for decks, patios, gazebos and other landscapes. The fixture operates both halogen lamps and LED lamps, and features a silicone o-ring between the fixture cover and housing to provide a watertight seal, says Sollos.

December 13, 2011 - Solais Lighting, a manufacturer of lightweight, specification-grade LED lamps, has announced Energy Star certification for its LED lamps, including the:

• LR38 PAR38 replacement – a 21W, 25-degree, 3000K LED lamp delivering 1250 lumens;
• LR38 PAR38 replacement – a 21W, 25-degree, 3000K LED lamp delivering 1100 lumens; and
• LR30LN PAR30 Long-Neck replacement – an 18W, 25-degree, 3000K LED lamp delivering 975 lumens.

The company boasts that all its new Energy Star-certified LED lamps feature the Solais’ exclusive Luxiance Thermal Management Technology, which it says utilizes a unique active cooling system to deliver superior light output and performance.

December 12, 2011 - Beacon Products, a division of Hubbell Lighting, has unveiled its Inspire LED outdoor luminaires—a collection of new contemporary-design luminaires, which provide highly energy-conserving lighting, it says. According to the company, the luminaires can be retrofitted in place of older, harsher, high energy-consuming units requiring more maintenance. All Inspire models provide broad, evenly distributed patterns of directional white light (unless amber LEDs are specified) yielding low or no glare, it adds. Additionally, the new full-colour, 132-page Inspire LED Collection catalogue is now available.

December 12, 2011 - CSA International has unveiled a new 30,000 sf. testing facility in Atlanta, Ga., which it said will address the growing demand for energy-efficient lighting products and new lighting standards. The laboratory provides testing and certification of LED and lighting products to more than 75 different standards, as well as required third-party Energy Star testing, it added.
December 2, 2011 - Lumenpulse Inc.—a manufacturer of LED-based lighting solutions for commercial, institutional and urban environments—unveiled its completed corporate headquarters in Montreal last night.
