August 9, 2012 - The LightRecycle Expansion Program will come into effect on October 1, 2012, for all lamps, ballasts and fixtures sold into the residential, commercial and industrial sectors in British Columbia. BCEA (British Columbia Electrical Association) is hosting breakfast meetings and Jordan Best, senior program coordinator from Product Care, to provide details about the LightRecycle Expansion Program, and answer your questions.
April 25, 2012 - A just-published bulletin from Electro-Federation Canada warns that B.C. Regulation states that, if you are selling lighting equipment (lamps and/or fixtures) after July 1, 2012, you must be a member of a government-approved regulated program—otherwise you may incur a $200,000 fine, per day.
