February 19, 2013 - Lind Equipment launched two new heavy-duty LED worklights: the LE1625LED and LE1725LED. These LED lights promise bright light that is equivalent to up to a 13W fluorescent bulb, and are built with a rubber handle and polycarbonate lens to ensure they can withstand tough abuse. The LE1725LED is the premium model, with 2x4W LED chips, 25-ft cord and an extra LED on the end. This extra LED allows the light to be operated in both worklight and flashlight modes. The LE1625LED is the value-priced model that boasts the heavy-duty durability of its cousin, but has a 1x4W LED chip. The LE1625LED is also available on a 40-ft cord reel (LE1640RLED), as is the LE1725LED (LE1740RLED).

October 1, 2012 - Lind Equipment's new 2012-13 catalogue boasts dozen of new SKUs and growth in the depth of historical lines. It is now available for download from the Lind Equipment site (www.lindequipment.net) or in paper format. This latest edition features several new Lind products, including the LE970LED 50W LED portable floodlight, and Lind’s cord reel offering now with heavy-duty and weatherproof cord reels with up to 12 conductors and 80’ of cord.

September 30, 2012 - Lind Equipment has appointed Stuart Dack to the role of product manager, where he will be responsible for leading the company from a technical standpoint, including directing new product design and product customizations. Dack will immediately kick-start development of Lind’s next generation products, including line extensions to the LE970LED 50W LED flood light.

September 5, 2012 - New models of the LE970LED Lind Equipment 50W portable LED floodlight are now available to help increase the floodlight's usefulness in new applications and job environments. The LE970LED-TD model is mounted on a 4-8’ tripod, which features separately moving light heads controlled by individual switches. The LE970LED-MAG model offers three 40lb-pull strength magnets mounted on the yoke. Lastly, a new “ruggedized” add-on package of upgrades to help enhance durability and robustness is available for all LE970LED models mentioned above, including the original LE970LED-FS (floor stand) and LE970LED-TR (single head tripod mount) models.

July 19, 2012 - Lind says its new LE970LED 50W portable LED floodlight provides bright white light—equivalent to a 500W quartz halogen—but with 90% less energy usage, and no problems with heat or replacing bulbs. The LE970LED is built with a weatherproof cast-aluminum housing and tempered glass lens. The light temperature is 4500K, making its light suitable indoors or out. The LED technology is designed to provide up to 50,000 hours of runtime, says Lind, and can start up instantly in the coldest temperatures (CHECK OUT the VIDEO below). It is suitable for remote workplaces where energy consumption is at a premium, such as mines, construction and generator-powered sites. It also works well in tight work areas, such as tank manufacturing, where contact with the light is a concern. The unit is available through Lind’s network of industrial and electrical distributors throughout Canada.

June 21, 2012 - The new redesigned Lind Equipment LE990 108W portable fluorescent flood light features a strong plastic housing with rubber gasketing, and a "virtually" unbreakable polycarbonate lens. At 8,250 lumens, the LE990 produces approximately the same light output as a 500W quartz halogen, while using less energy.

June 7, 2012 - Effective immediately, Lind Equipment is offering lower pricing (25%) on its 91000 series portable power distribution units. The 91000 is a safe and convenient way to temporarily distribute power on a jobsite during construction, shutdown or maintenance work, says Lind. It accepts 50A power and provides 6 x 5-20R 20A outlets and 1 x L6-30R 30A outlet that are both GFCI- and circuit breaker-protected. These units can also be daisy-chained to provide multiple portable PDUs. “We are excited to be able to use our increased volumes to lower pricing for our customers,” said Lind’s VP sales, Brian Astl.
