Echoflex Solutions introduced the EEK200C evaluation kit to provide quick and straightforward evaluation of EnOcean radio and energy harvesting technologies. For $149, system integrators can explore how batteryless and wireless controls enable building automation system integration. Encapsulated in the kit are tools for fully integrated systems: energy generation; energy conditioning and storage; sensor power balance; low power timers; and a microprocessor for OEM custom development.

MuxLab’s new HDMI Econo Plus extender kit (500401) is intended for AV specialists, installers, consultants, resellers, integrators and similar professionals. The kit allows HDMI equipment to be connected up to 150 ft (45m) via two Cat 5e unshielded twisted-pair cables in a point-to-point configuration at 1080p resolution. The product also supports 1080p Deep Colour up to 90 ft (27m) via Cat 6. The kit come with one transmitter, one receiver and one power supply. Applications include boardroom systems, classroom training, auditoriums, custom home installations and intercom systems.

Siemon’s intelligent infrastructure management (IIM) system, MapIT G2, is detailed in an online video. It addresses some of today’s IT and network concerns including downtime, network security, density and power consumption. Using a live installation, Siemon boasts that an expert demonstrates how MapIT G2’s combination of smart patch panels and cords, analyzers and software delivers enhanced visibility of a network infrastructure. The T6-AC3 table box provides access to audio/video equipment, computers, telephones or any device requiring electronic connectivity from a conference or boardroom table.  The company claims that the unit’s connector cavity features three integral AC outlets to handle most tabletop requirements, and its isolation from low voltage sections provides built-in safety measures. The T6-AC3 can be expanded to six outlets with the addition of a bracket. It is available in round or square shapes with a choice of black anodized, clear anodized or brushed brass finishes.  Both shapes fit in a 6-in. round hole. The unit comes standard with a chassis, a three-AC outlets bracket, and a choice of 1 large and 1 small bracket.  It is available with either AC power cords or as a hardwired version.
