Schletter 2.5 kW FS kit for small ground mount PV projects
March 23, 2012 - Schletter has introduced the 2.5 kW FS kit for residential small ground mount PV projects. The FS kit is designed for up to 95 mph wind / 35 psf snow or 105 wind/30 snow and offers optional high-load add-on with choice of 130/10, 125/40, 120/50, or 105/55 wind/snow loads.

Schletter AluGrid solar mounting system
February 3, 2012 - Schletter has introduced its AluGrid solar mounting system, which it describes as ideal for quick installation of high concentrations of modules. According to the company, AluGrid uses fewer components resulting in lower costs and installation time. The system was designed for flat-roof applications with module tilts at a fixed 15º; each system includes complete structural analysis including ballast calculations and project drawings.

Schletter PVMax solar mounting system
January 24, 2012 - Schletter boasts that its PVMax solar mounting system offers robust performance in nearly any terrain environment, adding that it particularly shines when: in small and medium-sized PV plants; soil is too soft or too rocky for pile driving; in landfill sites where surface cannot be penetrated; and pile driven posts are not possible. According to Schletter, the latest generation of the PVMax uses a minimal amount of drilled connections, while maximizing spans between foundations.

Schletter FS solar mounting system ETL-classified and more

Last month, Schletter began producing FS Systems with the ETL Classified Mark. Now, the large-scale commercial and utility project solar mounting system complies with the standard for safety under UL-1703, CAN/ULC-ORD-C1703 and UL-Subject-2703. Intertek qualified the FS System in its entirety, including all components. When used in combination with its ETL Listed Rapid2+ grounding middle clamp, Schletter says you can be assured the entire FS System is completely bonded, from module down to the post.
