June 21, 2012 - Cooper Lighting has opened the call for entries for its 36th annual Source Awards national lighting design competition. The competition, which focuses on furthering the understanding, knowledge and function of lighting as a primary element in design, is open to all lighting designers, architects, engineers, professional designers and consultants who use Cooper Lighting fixtures in an interior or exterior design project.

June 15, 2012 - Five Canadian electricity companies were recognized this week for their commitment to sustainable development under Canadian Electricity Association’s (CEA’s) Sustainable Electricity program. Ontario Power Generation Inc. and Horizon Utilities Corp. were awarded the joint title of Sustainability Company of the Year.

June 5, 2012 - David Anderson, parliamentary secretary to Joe Oliver, minister of natural resources, announced the winners of the 2012 Energy Star Market Transformation Awards. This year, 12 organizations in 13 categories were recognized for their excellence in advancing the Energy Star brand in Canada and, among them, FortisBC and Hydro-Quebec. Congratulations!
