January 14, 2013 - Westinghouse Lighting announced today the establishment of Westinghouse Lighting Canada (WLC)—a joint venture with Combi Inc., a Montreal based sales and marketing agency.
January 11, 2013 - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says Heico Lighting, a division of EMD Technologies, in Montreal, Que., has announced a voluntary recall of the neon power supply transformers. The transformers do not meet the UL standard for this product and pose a fire risk. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.
