Northern premiers support hydropower, connectivity and skills training
May 17, 2013 - Territorial premiers met in Whitehorse, Yukon, for the 11th annual Northern Premiersʼ Forum, where they discussed numerous issues of importance, including cost-effective energy systems, as well as cleaner alternatives. The expense of powering with diesel impedes economic development across the North by driving up the cost of living and the cost of doing business, say the premiers.

Panduit launches Integrated Network Zone System for industrials
March 6, 2013 - Panduit says its Integrated Network Zone System enables seamless communications between control rooms and the manufacturing floors within industrial facilities. Available in three configurations, the system includes an Allen-Bradley Stratix industrial switch that is pre-assembled into a NEMA-rated 4/12 enclosure with integrated structured cabling and cable management. The UL-certified system also includes Allen-Bradley UPSs installed behind a protective cover. The system promises to deliver up to a 75% reduction in deployment time.
