According to 3M, the Crimplok+ Connector is the first-known commercially available FTTx field-mounted connector for 900 µm singlemode fiber that meets indoor and outdoor performance requirements without a splice, gel or adhesive.

February 3, 2012 - Appleton's expanded Powertite line of plugs, connectors and receptacles features the new FSQC interlocked receptacle for refineries, chemical plants, water treatment facilities, and pharmaceutical production, among other sites. According to the company, the compact footprint of the unit is suitable for applications where space is restricted and is ideal as a drop-in replacement for existing competitor FSQC receptacles. The receptacle comes with a durable epoxy powder coat finish to provide superior corrosion resistance, it adds.

According to the company, the BIBS-DB connectors provide a convenient way to join multiple conductors in direct burial applications, and are range taking and easy to install.
