$20K to support families with sick children, thanks to Acuity, Electrozad, Wharton

November 16, 2023 – Thanks to Acuity Brands’ Earthlight Initiative—and partners Electrozad Supply and Wharton Sales Company—Ronald McDonald House is now has an extra $20,000 to help provide a “home away from home for families with sick children”.
“Through the Earthlight Initiative, we strive to foster a culture of giving back, and this donation to Ronald McDonald House aligns perfectly with our mission to create positive change in the communities where we operate,” said Mark Killoran, Acuity Brands.
As part of this initiative, Acuity recognized Electrozad as its 2023 Winning Distributor for Canada. And, as the winner, Electrozad chose Ronald McDonald House as the recipient of a $10,000 donation from Acuity Brands.
But then Electrozad joined forces with Wharton (a.k.a. WSC Lighting Systems) to collectively add another $10K to the donation, for a grand total of $20,000.
“We believe in the power of collective action and are honoured to join forces with Acuity Brands and Electrozad in this philanthropic endeavour,” said Wharton Sales’ Scott Wharton.
