March 12, 2015 – 3M has released its newest fall protection full body harness line developed with 3M’s stain repellent, Scotchgard Protector.

The protectant is applied to the fibers of the new Economy Harness webbing to help repel liquids and prevent stains.
 
Rated to 400 pounds, the Economy Harness line has expanded size offerings including XS, Universal and XXL.
 
The X-shaped backplate paired with lanyard keepers help “reduce potential entanglement for workers at height, and makes donning and doffing easier,” said 3M.
 
The Economy Harness line meets ANSI Z359.1-2007 and CSA Z259.10-2012 standards as well as the requirements of OSHA 20 CFR 1910.66 and 1926.502 regulations.
