February 9, 2012 | By Alyssa Dalton

February 9, 2012 – Going to the BICSI Winter Conference and Exhibition next week in Orlando, Fla.? NETcomm will be there, and so will 3M’s new Crimplok+ Connector, which the company claims can save time and money on enterprise and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network installations without sacrificing signal performance or reliability. The product will be on display at the 3M booth, giving attendees the chance to try out the connector for themselves. According to 3M, the Crimplok+ Connector is the first-known commercially available FTTx field-mounted connector for 900 µm singlemode fiber that meets indoor and outdoor performance requirements without a splice, gel or adhesive.
