Schneider integrates Citect for SCADA HMI and MES solutions

Schneider Electric North America will integrate Citect—a player in industrial automation software—into its complete automation and control solution offering. The integration will further strengthen both companies ability, says Schneider, to provide SCADA, HMI and MES (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, Human-Machine Interface and Manufacturing Execution System) solutions and services. The change will further accelerate the development of the Citect software suite.

Eaton joins Alliance for Sustainable Built Environments

Eaton Corp. has joined the Alliance for Sustainable Built Environments: a “select group of industry leaders” who practice—and are recognized for—leadership in sustainability. Eaton is the first power management company to become a member of the alliance.

Inter-Global opens product lines to electrical distribution

Electrical component manufacturer Inter-Global Inc. is opening several of its product lines—that were previously only available to select lighting fixture OEMs—to electrical distributors in Canada and the United States.
