Act now for easier RCDD exam requirements

November 17, 2009 | By Anthony Capkun

If you’re planning on sitting for BICSI’s Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) exam, consider doing so before the requirements change.

Individuals planning to sit for the RCDD exam based on the
“Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual (TDMM)” 11th
edition—and under the two-year experience requirement—must apply by
December 31. Once approved, you will only have through March 2010 to
pass.

If you don’t have your RCDD exam application in by December 31—or pass
the RCDD exam based on the TDMM 11th Ed. by March 27, 2010—then you
will be required to submit an application under the new qualification
requirements
of five years of experience and test on the TDMM 12th Ed.
