Active Energy Savings LightOwl lighting power control for streetlighting

 Active ES Lighting Controls—a provider of lighting power control technology for HID and fluorescent lights—unveiled its LiteOwl lighting control device specially designed for use in individual, cobra-style streetlight applications. It sits atop and plugs into the standard photocell socket within any cobra-style lighting fixture. Currently available for lamps up to 250W, LiteOwl enables energy savings of about 20%, claims Active, and delivers maintenance-free operation for decades. The LiteOwl is UL listed, RoHS-compliant and recyclable.
